Implementation and support

One team to build, connect, and support the storefront.

JewelersDigital coordinates the storefront, migration, integration, content, and support work defined below. The scope identifies what our team delivers, what the client supplies or confirms, and what requires a separate quote.

Published prices cover the listed JewelersDigital plan and standard build scope. Shopify, domains, payment processing, taxes, paid apps, custom integrations, expanded migration or content work, and other third-party services may be additional. Final scope and timing are confirmed in writing before work begins.

Deliverables and boundaries

Implementation and support scope, work area by work area.

Each row keeps the deliverable, required client input, and separate-scope boundary together.

01

Shopify storefront design and build

Standard delivery

One storefront, one design direction, one substantive revision, agreed product and collection architecture, and responsive implementation.

Client provides

Shopify access, brand inputs, approved imagery and product details, and decisions at the defined review points.

Quoted separately

Additional storefronts or revision rounds, custom functionality, redesigns, extensive content, and work outside the signed build scope.

02

Migration and cutover

Standard delivery

Agreed product, content, and redirect allowances; documented validation steps; and a launch plan based on the available source data.

Client provides

Source exports or access, content and redirect decisions, domain access, and timely review of the migrated records.

Quoted separately

Unusual volume, extensive data remediation, unsupported source formats, additional content production, and expanded post-launch monitoring.

03

Integration engineering

Standard delivery

One supported standard integration when included in the signed scope: The Edge for Jewelers, Crystal POS, Lightspeed, Square, or Shopify POS.

Client provides

Supported system access, usable data, vendor contacts, cooperation with vendor requirements, and approval of the defined connection scope.

Quoted separately

Non-standard systems, custom APIs or automations, additional integrations, vendor professional services, and third-party fees.

04

Product content and catalog preparation

Standard delivery

Plan-specific product-copy drafts, product-image normalization, catalog preparation, and Briefing Cards when included in the signed scope.

Client provides

Accurate source data, brand and product guidance, exception decisions, and human review before the approved publishing step.

Quoted separately

Photography, net-new source content, expanded volume, unusual image remediation, and work beyond the plan or project allowance.

05

Ongoing support and escalation

Standard delivery

Routine email and phone support for the platform, approved build, and directly supported or integrated systems during published support hours.

Client provides

A clear issue report, available account access, relevant examples, and authority for any coordination required with a third-party vendor.

Quoted separately

New features, redesigns, extensive content, unsupported vendor work, custom development, and support outside the agreed operating scope.

Implementation process

A guided project with defined responsibilities.

A standard launch is typically targeted for about four to six weeks after required access and inputs are available. Prompt review supports the schedule; custom work and third-party dependencies can extend it.

01 · Discovery

Document the scope

JewelersDigital maps the storefront, systems, inputs, responsibilities, and exceptions. The client confirms the signed scope.

02 · Direction

Review the design

JewelersDigital prepares the design direction. The client provides brand inputs and completes the defined review round.

03 · Implementation

Build and connect

JewelersDigital implements the agreed storefront and connections. The client supplies required data and reviews defined checkpoints.

04 · Handoff

Launch and support

Both teams complete the launch checklist. The approved build then moves into the subscribed support scope.

Timeline assumptions

The first design direction is targeted within two weeks after required access and inputs are available. Complex migration, custom functionality, delayed approvals, or third-party vendor work can extend the standard four-to-six-week launch target.

Support and escalation

A clear operating scope after launch.

Support covers the subscribed platform, approved build, and directly supported connections. It does not create an unlimited development or third-party service obligation.

01 · Channels

Email and phone

Routine support is available through the published email and phone channels.

02 · Hours

Seven days, 9–5 ET

Support hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern, seven days a week.

03 · Included scope

Routine operating support

Reasonable-use support covers the platform, approved build, and directly supported or integrated systems.

04 · Escalation

Production-impacting issues

Use the direct support channel during published hours. Response and resolution depend on impact, access, and any vendor involvement.

JewelersDigital can coordinate with a third party when the client provides the necessary access and authority. Vendor availability and resolution time remain outside JewelersDigital’s control. New features, redesigns, extensive content work, unsupported systems, and custom development are scoped separately.

Implementation questions

Common questions about scope and support.

Can an existing Shopify storefront stay in place?

Yes, when the current storefront is suitable for the agreed work. Supplier feeds, Ring Builder, workflows, or measurement can be scoped against the existing implementation. Material redesign or remediation is quoted separately.

Who controls the storefront and commerce data?

Customer-controlled Shopify assets, products, customers, orders, and domain remain in the customer’s systems, subject to applicable third-party terms. Connected feeds, hosted workflows, licensed components, automations, and support stop with the subscription.

Is photography included?

No. Photography is not included. Image preparation such as defined sizing, cropping, or background work can be added when it is documented in the project scope.

What happens after launch?

The approved build moves into the subscribed support scope. Routine email and phone support is available seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern. New features and out-of-scope work are quoted separately.

What can extend the launch timeline?

Custom functionality, non-standard integrations, complex migration, unusual data remediation, third-party vendor work, and delayed access or approvals can extend the standard target.
